Lockers....How much do you pay and how much would you pay??

The locker room at my place is dung of the highest order. No lockers only a few bench seats to change on. The problem being when the ladies irish close was there they swapped the locker rooms about and done up the ladies room.

£25 a year at ours.

The locker rooms were renovated a couple of years back and although nowhere near as plush as the ones pictured they take my big trolley bag comfortably ( plus all the rubbish that seems to accumulate )

I don't think I'd pay much more.

£60 per year but it's a full length one which easily takes my large TM bag and has a shelf as well where I can keep practice balls and a shoe bag. Relatively secure in as much as access to the locker room is via swipe card but I've got protection written into my golf insurance covering theft from the locker should the worse happen (only an extra £5)

To be honest its worth the money as I commute by train from work and so I can leave my gear in the locker and still go up the club most nights without having to stop off at home and pick the gear up first.

Ours are the Coventry Hearsal and 2nd down on the left.

No idea of the cost as im on a 3 year waiting list :D

You are on a waiting list but have no idea of the cost??

What if it's £100 a year and you don't fancy that? Just say no and waste the clubs time?

I want a locker so no wasting of the clubs time.

Regardless of the cost?

They look very nice but what a vain membership, there are mirrors everywhere and what look like beauty prodcuts laid out under the mirrors!

Surely all the average golfer needs is a mirror above the sink in the pisser?

Our place charges £20.00 a year and the lockers are pretty decent. Trouble is there is a not that many and the chances of getting one any time soon are pretty much nil. I would love a locker as I cannot take my clubs to work (will not fit in my boot so would have to leavein plain site) so I miss out on a few holes in the week as would not have time to go home then head back to the course.

My yearly fees are £980, so I can't imagine it will be more than 10% of that for a locker. But to answer your question I will pay it regardless as I want a locker.

Not had a locker since at my last club the whole locker room got turned over one night, they got away with 44 full sets plus plenty of other paraphernalia.

Current house insurance will now not cover clubs in a locker (having paid out last time!).

Would like a small locker, that I could leave balls, gloves, a spare shirt, toiletires etc but not prepared to leave clubs in a locker again

Ours are similar to the double stacked ones at the Coventry Hearsall club.

As to cost, I think it's £25 a year at the moment, I paid up a £20 year fee when we had our new clubhouse built 10 years ago, so not had to pay an annual fee yet ;)

Good lockers are expensive to install, but do seem to get a better reception from the members and better uptake.

£20 a year and full length with shelf and similar to some in the posted link, would pay more as they are a godsend for nipping up after work as I sometimes pass the course on way home ( regional Engineer), also trolley storage container on course as well which is free of charge.

Despite only having swipecard access we've had lockers broken into before which is why I got Carrick & Neil to add a specific clause onto my golf insurance regarding theft from the locker to cover me in case. Only an extra £5

I pay £30 a year for ours. There not bad really, similar to the ones we had at high school but they do the job. Just wide enough to pin up a page 3 pic on the inside of the door.

There nowt like as posh as the ones in your link. Reckon if you were to put our locker price upto say £50 even though they were getting better lockers/lockeroom they would moan like buggery coz there a bunch tight arses.

£20 a year for the locker and £15 for the trolly locker- so I just go over with my battery and play. Locker just about holds cart bag and carry bag so always have the choice of carrying.
