LIV Golf

Scottie beat them all in 2025 though.

More mud slinging…..yay have missed that.

You post a list showing the prize money for Liv players, someone comments that it’s an obscene amount of money and the first thing you do is say oh well someone else has learnt more.

Post the PGA tour money list in the appropriate thread and I’d have made the same comment. The money at the top level of sport is obscene.

Did he? Figures from various sources have Scheffler's winnings somewhere from $26m-$29m. So if Rahm has pocketed $38m then I can't see how he's beat them.

LIV guys play less golf as well.

There’s a list I saw that had Scottie at 39m, but the one on the PGA tour list “only” has him high 20’s.

Possible fed ex bonuses make the difference? Think the Liv figure Mel posted includes the bonuses for the championships but I haven’t looked

Fair enough. Only saw multiple sources having him at 26-29. Still plays more golf though.

Rahm played less of course, in part due to the 3 day v 4 day format of LIV, and Rahm also withdrew from the US

The number of tournaments entered for both is very similar

To make it a fair comparison it needs to include any contracted money than Rahm also was given plus bonuses etc which is what Schefflers amount includes

I asked Grok

In 2025, Scottie Scheffler earned more money in total than Jon Rahm, according to available data. Sportico reports that Scheffler’s total earnings for 2024 were $104.3 million, including $76.3 million in prize money and bonuses from the PGA Tour and $28 million from endorsements. For 2025, his on-course earnings are noted at $26.6 million, with additional bonuses like $18 million from the FedEx Cup and Comcast Business Top 10, suggesting he maintained a high earning trajectory.

Jon Rahm, on the other hand, earned $105.8 million in 2024, per Golf Monthly, with $35 million from LIV Golf prize money, $20 million from endorsements, and the rest from his LIV signing bonus. While Rahm’s earnings were substantial, no specific 2025 total is provided, and his LIV contract bonuses are not guaranteed to repeat at the same level annually.

Given Scheffler’s consistent performance and significant bonuses in 2025, he likely out-earned Rahm for the year, though exact 2025 figures for Rahm are less clear. If you need a deeper comparison or specific event breakdowns, let me know!

So it looks like Scottie is Obscene Golf Pro Money Earner Final Boss… :ROFLMAO:

Didn’t Rahm get $300 million just as the signing on bonus to switch to LIV? Who even cares about the pittance in annual prizes when you’ve already pocketed that? 🤣

“No specific 2025 total is provided for Rahm”

“Exact figures for Rahm are less clear”

“Likely”

Seems all clear as mud

Scheffler - 5 wins on tour including 2 majors

Rahm - 0
so it is all about the money then....ha ha
well when your using someone as a comparison you need to ensure the comparisons are the same surely
