Did I not say potentially making the move? There are rumours constantly circulating about players who may be joining and in a lot of cases they prove to be wrong.

It's hardly a hammer blow for LIV if Finau doesn't join, although he would have been a popular player for sure.

LIV has the best player of this era, in Koepka (5 majors) a two-time major winner and one of the biggest current names in golf (esp for the emergent market age demographic) in Bryson, one of the most elite players of the last 5 yrs by any serious observer (and two-time major winner) in Jon Rahm, and one of the best players ever - and one of the two most dominant players in the last 20 years - and 6 time major winner in Mickelson

I think they are doing just fine….Finau isn’t a big loss. And they don’t ’need’ the likes of Sam Burns, Max Homa or Will Zalatoris 😂

Yeah, I’ll be watching as much as I can next year regardless.
Some interesting developments out in Saudi at the moment where a LIV place is up for grabs, followed by the qualification event next week.

Great what billions of dollars can buy 🙄

The narrative appears to have changed about Finau

LIV fans not happy - some dragging up attitudes from the 60’s

Did hear they have approached Hailey Davidson though - should be good for their diversity

Not billions, but they do spend millions. Appearance fees, the fake chunks for social media profiles amongst others. The PGA have been throwing money at the big boys since liv came along.

Yep since LIV came along the money has just destroyed the game tbh

Before LIV the tour had the sponsers to have the big prize money

They weren’t giving a golfer £500mil to play

And I’m not a fan of the PGAT but at least I got to see the top players playing together a few times

Sorry are you really trying to find a link between Tour golf and people taking up the game 🤦‍♂️

I’m sure even you are aware that Covid gave golf a massive boom

Thankfully for the sport - there is a lot of hard working golf club pros and staff getting people into the sport - as opposed to a bunch of multi millionaires on any tour

You said money has destroyed the game - it clearly hasn't.

Unless you can prove otherwise...

And how has it been destroyed?
Do you really not see it

The big huge divide within the “Tour golf”

The fact less people are watching it

People getting turned off from watching due to the split and the disgusting levels of money being thrown around

The whole thing is unsustainable , it’s a complete mess and utter shambles right now.

So you're talking about the PGAT then..?

And blaming the money - please... As if people are going to stop watching sport because of the amounts the athletes are paid - tell me which other sports have experienced that.. Soccer, American Football... Formula 1?? That is such a lame argument that is put forward by people that are salty that the PGAT has lost some players to another tour - time to get over it Phil - it's a bad look.

No I’m talking all tour golf

All tour golf is unsustainable right now

And once again - I’m not fan of the PGAT

And yes there will be people who won’t bother watching LIV because of the way it is and funded and yes people have been turned off from football etc

Let’s be clear the one single reason why anyone went to LIV is the money

Unless you think less people watching tour golf is a good thing

Not sure what you will do when the big contracts run out and there is a big pot for a second round
