His latest YouTube video was released today….featuring Tom Brady — the best and most lauded NFL player ever

Bryson has won Golf YouTube.

It’s a far cry from watching Peter Finch, Liam from Golf Mates, and that little chump from Sky Sports football and his brother and hearing the banter from their assortment of footballer geezers as guests on their channel

Just had a quick look through the numbers for the views his videos are getting - every single one is in the hundreds of thousands and some are in the millions. He's totally transformed the way he's perceived - from a golfer a lot of people didn't understand and like, to one of the most popular guys in the game at the moment.

I watched Liam doing a live Q&A on Sunday - he was quite clear that the channel is struggling - despite some quality videos they are putting out - the algorithm is always going to favour guys like Bryson unfortunately but I still try and watch some of the more local creators who helped build up golf YouTube.

I suspect Greg will move into a role which is less public, but he's undoubtedly done a good job in getting LIV to where it is - but he's too old to be part of the long term strategy of the league. There are still plenty of people that don't like him of course and that will be a factor in bringing in a replacement as we hopefully look to be moving towards and agreement between the differing golf bodies.

Everyone would love a tour where the best golfers go around the world and play in front of fans instead of focusing on the US - that concept I suspect everyone would enjoy and get behind - an enhanced version of the WGC with co sanction across all the tours

But GN ideas went too extreme and were too divisive for many

If GN moves away then I hope the next step is some sort of world tour where the top players from each tour or nation play in - and include some team events a bit like the old World Cup - 4bbb etc with some foursomes , Greensomes and maybe some KOs in there as well

Just seen this, Bryson instructed his Lawyers to have the Company that released it on the simulator software to take it down.🤷‍♂️

School boy error not to ask his permission to use his house

Ea sports lost the masters for years

Just do a knock for version that's similar

Tbh, it's crazy that the European tour didn't sort this out at the beginning.
I suspect it's too late now, and that the pif are just applying a little leverage to make the isolationist wing of the pga tour sweat a bit.
If the PIF joins or merge with the DPWT that would only mean that they would have to subsidize two failing tours..... I don't think that that's where they're trying to go.

Not necessarily. If a true merger, then LIV as they tried to do it, would be just shut down, or folded into the European tour which would take its golfers around the world rather than limited to the USA like PGAT. So one tour as far as PIF is concerned.

With LIV a failure in terms of attracting enough quality golfers or acceptable esteem as proper sport, they would probably like to find a way to disband it now without losing too much face. Blending its players into the Euro tour, and still having tournaments around the world which the ET already has to a great degree, could succeed. It would be a way of stopping the teams element as well, and they could still brand themselves as a world wide tour, even if still a second division to the PGAT.

They have their minority share in the PGAT as well, so very much a controlling influence in world professional golf. What PIF has learned, and while their pockets are deep, and they still got burned, is that running the actual golf is best left to those who know how to do that, and not trying to reformulate it, based on cricket or NFL models which just didnt translate.
