Folks, people leave for various reasons but it is against forum rules to discuss members who have left. First and foremost, they are not around to either defend themselves or put their perspective across. If people want to chat about it, take it to PM'S.

Further chat will be deleted and persistent posters will receive warnings. Move on.......
This post is exactly the same word for word as one just posted by LT. Is moderation now scripted?

And a bit naive to think there won’t be raised eyebrows when the user profile of one of the most prolific forum posters has a deleted state, to be told ‘remember you can't talk about it’ ;)

So, if we ever find out that Erik Ten Hag or Jordan Henderson was once a member of Golf Monthly Forums, then we can ban anyone who talks about them? :)

First Liv was "dead in the water" then it launched

Then "nobody big will sign only has beens"

DJ signed

Then nobody else will sign .. whoops cam didn't get the message

Liv players won't compete in majors.. they won't be tournament sharp , man brooks really did extra well then.

Nobody else will join, jesus rahm didn't you get the script

End of day nobody knows the ins and outs of Liv. Nobody has a clue about the sponsorship deals or the finances.

All we do really know is with every top talent that leaves for Liv the pga field takes a hit whilst Liv improves

The pga have the feeder tours but who do people want to see? Rory, Hovland, Scotty? If any of them leave what then? Do we kid ourselves further that Liv will just disappear because people want it to?

You're right about LIV launching and signing players, but you're implying they've achieved their goals.

I assume LIV's primary goal is to get people to watch its product, and that hasn't happened. If you honestly believe that LIV got 2 million viewers on Coffee TV (that's 60% of what the final day of the Open boasted last year), you're not operating in reality. Its YouTube figures are horrible, its US TV ratings are horrible, and its overall engagement in the sports world (outside of Australia) isn't panning out.

LIV's achievements:
-Spend billions signing players on medium-term contracts
-Make the PGA product/field worse

Nothing else

On the CW highlights - aired during the day, after the rounds had finished, they got close to 200,000 views. Considering there are other ways of watching in the US, and that figure is for US based viewers only, I’d say that was decent.

If you’re going to go down the route of challenging viewing figures, you’ll need something to back it up.

We don't make up the rules 🤷‍♀️. The powers that be are very keen on this particularly one so we have to follow it through.

Why make up an answer which will fundamentally be the same when copy & paste exists?

This has been covered many times before, usually whenever someone leaves the forum 🤷‍♀️

Surely you can understand why it happens though, some of these people are like hall of fame forumers and they just go forever all of a sudden!

Completely. We are all inquisitive, people want to know the reasoning, rationale etc. It is what it is though. The poster closed their account, moved on. The rules state no chat 🤷‍♀️
