The roll back won't affect normal golfers, only those with swing speeds over 115. Which very few weekend warriors manage.
In fact it wouldn't even effect Kevin Na or Poulter if it was brought into LIV, except to bring them nearer to the big boys

When are they introducing bigger holes for the lads that aren't so good with the putter then ? :ROFLMAO:

I wouldn't trust the R&A to grow Japanese knotweed. Their only input into the game of golf recently has been the proposed rollback, which is by definition, taking the game backwards.
Absolute garbage! I stongly suspect you simply are anti toward them because of their partial ownership and control of OWGR!

You’ll have to explain that one, afraid I don’t speak obfuscation
Apologies @Mel Smooth . I should have been more understanding, as you obviously don’t understand the meaning of my post.

When I mention ball speed it didn’t relate to putting.
It refers to driving the ball. Big hitters achieve high speeds. Whereas short hitters dont.
The rollback on the ball is intended to only affect longer hitters, thus preventing them overpowering courses.
They don’t tend to over power putting greens or the hole itself.

I believe it affects all players - to a degree - but with more effect on longer hitters, who will still be longer hitters! It's designed to protect courses - mainly The Old Course imo, but others with space restrictions. If it was only longer hitters that it affected, I believe it would have simply applied to ALL players - but this was likely deemed a 'not acceptable' option!

It affects the faster swing more

It’s a grim top of the leaderboard mind if I seen that on the PGA Tour I’d be swerving it on the Sunday for the final round
I see its the Cleeks from the Stinger. Who are the big teams that would have you relishing the showdown ?

Edit : whats with the Rangegoats and their ovaries/fallopian tube logo ???

You mean the big Aces aren’t winning…they’re the nation’s favourites

I love all the anti LIVer's who spend all their time looking up the scores and everything related to LIV, hope LIV continues for a long time so these people have something meaningful to do in their LIVes

Excellent golf being played on an excellent course with fantastic and appreciative crowds and the usual tragedy cases on here are doing their utmost to tell us all how bad it is.

Folks need to enjoy it or ignore it.
