Serious question and it's never going to happen.

If Greg Norman got his wish that Golfers were independant contractors and could choose whatever events outside of the majors they wanted.
OWGR was fair whichever event/tour you played.
Also there was no minimum amount of events you had to play per tour.
Total free agents to play where they want with no ramifications at all around qualifying for majors and Ryder Cups etc

Where would players play?

I think it would still be 70% PGAT playing the iconic events and players would play Liv events for the extra $$$ inbetween.

And in that fantasy world both tours would probably be happy with that ?
Would love to see your evidence for the assertion that GN wants all golfers t be independent contractors, given that the contracts he as asked LiV players to sign are way more restrictive that any of the other major tours.
As for the question, it is a completely pointless one. The variables not covered by your post are so vast and neither of the two tours would look anywhere like they are today, it is completely unimaginable.

You are obviously entitled to feel how you wish, but may it be that the appeal is about the DPWT possibly not following their own rules?
From memory they mandate playing a minimum of 4 events to maintain membership.
Thought @Slab summed it up well.

As far as I can ascertain members need to play a minimum of 11 events to maintain their membership of the DPWT. Of course this includes co sanctioned events such as the Majors and the WGC series.

Yeah, I was meaning bona-fide DPWT events. Acknowledge not all players can attend the majors, and think most would acknowledge WGC are really controlled by PGAT.

Can’t wait to see how this is spun out!

Well Sergio for one, can't really justify complaining about not being allowed to play on a tour that he's jacked in anyway.

People with more knowledge than me think the DP case will go against them, but the PGA will win theirs, which let's be honest, would be fantastic for the DPWT.

Why would it be fantastic for the ET ?‍♂️

Why the PGA be allowed to remove their Tour membership and not the ET ?‍♂️

And it’s not fantastic for the ET when there is a bunch of players who have zero commitment to the tour beyond will try and use the tour for ranking points

I guess the CW deal has helped strengthen the need for the US events, disappointing for the countries that perhaps hoped to see LIV put on an event. South Africa would have been a good addition to spread the tour around,.

LIV Golf schedule 2023
Here’s what we know so far…

March 17-19: LIV Golf Tucson (The Gallery)

March 31-April 2: LIV Golf Orlando (Orange County)

April 21-23: LIV Golf Adelaide (The Grange)

April 28-30: LIV Golf Singapore (Sentosa)

May 12-14: LIV Golf Tulsa (Cedar Ridge)

May 26-28: LIV Golf DC (Trump National)

June 30-July 2: LIV Golf Spain (Valderrama)

July 7-9: LIV Golf London (Centurion)

So they have just stuck with the main golf market - thought it was going to be a world tour thing ?‍♂️

USA is by far the biggest market of course and they need sponsors...

40% of the Liv tour is international events which is a lot but maybe it seems less because they have way less events than the PGA Tour.

I thought LiV had signed TV deals with TV stations around the world, so why is the CW deal forcing LiV to remain mainly US based. I thought there aim was solely to grow the game worldwide.

It seems it’s about growing the wallets of some players and Trump helping with a bit of sportswashing whilst prob using the money to pay of a few fines

What made you think that?

Why do you think they have moved away from their most popular event
