So we finally get to see how the OWGR points affect LIV players. I think those that are getting them will be fairly happy with the way they moved them up the rankings - the jury will remain out on whether just ten places is sufficient....

Its a tricky one this because yes only 10 players receiving points seems low compared to other tours.

On the flip side of that the points those top 10 are actually getting are pretty heavy compared to other tours.
Smylie got more points for winning than Reed for example (Reed up to 17 in the world by the way)

If Rahm has his usual year on Liv he will be back in the top 10 in no time.

A player like Elvis Smylie can legit look to get into the top 50 and majors through Liv Golf with some more top 10 results.
Without stating the obvious, he is going to feel right at home this week.

Although Liv are whining I think they got a pretty good starting deal with OWGR.

I haven’t been but have been to a fair few golf events (Open, Women’s Open, Seniors Open, Open Quali, BMW at Wentworth etc) - I personally think it wouldn’t be worth it.

But that’s not a knock on LIV events…I often think that any ‘Premium experience’ is really worth it IMO

What I enjoy about live golf is the ability to do what you please and walk anywhere and follow whoever — being a bit closer on a prescribed ‘busy’ hole wouldn’t appeal and nor would a ‘chill out zone’

Again, this only applies to me!

He's been slowly improving - he's nowhere near Reeds levels of course, but, he'll bring a lot of media attention to the 4 Aces team. DJ is the guy that needs to find some consistency in form tbh - but they have a pretty solid team line up now.

What feels so right about this and not his initial signing for the league is that he has legit earned it.

He has been playing solid golf for a while with shooting way under par at Saudi Invitational, international series and promotions event.

Hope he flourishes more in the team environment at the 4 Aces

It’s hard not to feel good for Anthony Kim, clearly mislead and easily influenced when younger, so easy done at that age, then turning to alcohol.
He’s clearly turned his life around and to compete at this level again is nothing short of phenomenal in my opinion.
