Help Needed

I have a tee holder thing on both my golf trolley and bag. I keep most of my tees/ball marker etc in my pocket, what is more important to me for trousers is durability, quality, and looks

All my trousers already come with tee and ball marker holders - they are called "Pockets" ?!?

From another thread;

Anyone have the new Nike trouser with tee slots by the pocket? dont use them, I nearly shish kebabed a testicle when i crouched down.

You have been warned!
:D

What I want from golf trousers, is wind and water resistance and quick to dry when wet. The pockets don't need any special treatment, other than being strong enough for the job.

Judging by some of the golfers I have played with, their pockets are much too deep to find their wallet.

I think trousers should be right and left handed. Seriously, what right hander golfer keeps anything in his left pocket.

why dont you buy trousers without the back pocket flap?

I know that's a crazy idea, but it just might work.

If I see a pair of trousers that I really like but they have a button on the back pocket, and a pair of trousers that don't have a button but I don't like, I'll buy the ones with the button and cut it off.

Hardly worth rolling your eyes at.

What's really needed is a choice of pocket depth. Some folk like a quick in and out hand motion into a shallow pocket whilst other like a long slow rummage at arms length. Proper pockets should be the same depth as the length from the tip of the index finger to 1 inch above the wrist.

sorry :mmm:

Nike trousers i own have tee holders. Look on the Golf Monthly home page and look at the pic of the front page of the Mag, Rory McIlroy is wearing the same.

Personally (and i reckon the majority will agree) pockets do a perfectly good job at holding stuff. having a specific holder for tee's, ball marker whatever is over engineering a problem that does not exist. Pockets are fine.

Have a look at these from Nike (and i have seen others) http://www.golfgarb.co.uk/nike-juni...tml?source=webgains&siteid=46752#.VRp6H_nF--0

I reckon 1 in 100 people would use the slots provided for tees.

In fact, look at post #60 on this thread for some advice i gave this morning! http://forums.golf-monthly.co.uk/showthread.php?75542-Boycott-of-Nike-products/page6

Hi Rooter - what is the model/style name of the Nike trousers (as in Rory on the cover)? I've scoured the www and can't find them.

I think the idea of tee holders for trousers is a bit naff tbh. Just reinforce the pockets so its more comfortable (and if you like safe) for tees.
