Full set for less than £1000?

I bought a Cobra F Speed driver and Cobra Baffler 16° hybrid in 2010 for £25 each.
In more recent years I have bought the F Speed 3-wood for £16, the 20° hybrid for £14 and the 23° hybrid for £12.50

I don't think I have ever put all 5 in the bag, but it gives me a good choice.
Yesterday I had driver, 3-wood, 20° and 23° hybrids.
I did not hit a single shot with the 3-wood. Course was so dry and hard that each par-5 required a careful lay-up second shot.

My woods and hybrids appear to be increasing in value when I look at sold prices on Ebay.

Come September I might have a serious go at convincing myself that brand new driver, 3-wood and hybrids are worth it.
But 4 clubs will be well over £1,000 I imagine.
But I could justify that with the fact that I have spent less than £100 in the last 15 years.

I think it will be more likely that I will go for 3-5 year old clubs. There always seems to be such a great choice.

There was one near me that wasn't a scam but most of them in that price range are for sure. Though the thing that puts me off on the G425 is apparently its quite loud, so not sure if I should be looking elsewhere for a driver.
I wouldn’t worry about the sound,it won’t be much different from other models.

Meh, get yourself one of the old square Nike SQ drivers for £20 or whatever. Then you’ll announce your arrival to the entire course when you hit off the first tee 😁 and everything else will seem whisper quiet…
