Change of job for me so more and different hours. Plus family stuff to juggle a bit more at weekends. Need to get it sorted out!
Family first, but golf before work LOL ?
I hope you can work something out.

That would be normal.Just looking at the breadsall priory 4bbb which is £60 for the team of 4. I guess that includes green fee and entry fee for the comp?

This might be interesting for some. I'm paying the following for Opens in Northumberland and Co.Durham:
£12, £19, £25, £15, £20
My two favourite ones will be the £12 and £15 ones, not because of the price either
Any other opens I book will be in similar territory.
I've got 5 booked between April and August, £72 for the lot. Obviously not top class courses, but all decent enough, and will be a nice change of scenery.
Ah, that could very well have been my issue, relying on GE to be the bible. Strange from clubs as listing is free.I am sure there may be far more opens in Scotland, but there are several clubs near that only publicise their Opens on their own website, so a total off Golf Empire isnt the full story...
Yes..... & that's why, in the NE, Seaton Carew at £30 a man is generally considered outrageously expensive!! However, all 6 days of their Festival Week in August are all but sold out!!I've got 5 booked between April and August, £72 for the lot. I was replying with the NW in mind but you are right. Lindrick is a cracker.
Also Beau Desert.
I've noticed some places are asking for six scores for h/c to be record in comps to collect prizes. Good idea, but a pain for me as the wife doesn't play in any. Just has general play cards in, but they are genuine scores.
Many clubs in Scotland now refusing to accept entries from "Open Play" members (that's the Scottish Golf scheme where you pay a monthly fee and submit GP cards for an official handicap), which is another positiveExcellent news imo.
Apologies, so it is, poor show from Glenegales having near a year out of date info. That means the Kings won't be the Spring Open then as they rotate each year. Maybe email the lassie anyway and see the scoop for 2023?
Excellent news imo.
