That's fabulous. I played there last year, nice place but my expectations were too high. I'd like to play it again and I'm sure I'll enjoy it more.

You can certainly see why Monty was a fader, anyone with a draw there is going to lose a lot of balls in the river .

I met with a mate last night. We've added Gosforth and Ponteland to our growing list of Opens. That's what beer makes you do

Have entered a pairs event at Askernish golf club in June, looks amazing.

I'm currently looking for an open at the end of August as the wife may....be going away with her sister. Cleveland looks promising. Near Seaton Carew for the next day.

That would be a great warm up for Seaton Carew. Similar courses I believe, Seaton being the tougher track. I've played Cleveland, not Seaton.
