Thinking back to my old uni days does eating simple sugars i.e. a chocolate bar not induce the insulin response? This initially lowers your blood sugar level which will make you less energetic. This will rectify itself over a period of time.
Is a mix of complex carbs,nuts and seeds not the eay to go? The way you lot are going on you'd think it's elite athletes doing an ultra-marathon over the himalayas... 😛
