When I was a member at The Brailsford & taking part in Weekend competitions It wasn't my other half who objected, it was me who'd have rather have been playing midweek rather than at weekends when I could have been spending time with my other half or the families.

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the competitions & they were great fun, its just the days they were on. I work shifts & my other half doesn't so the weekends when I'm not having to work for me should be for family not golf no matter how much I love playing the game.

She's as oft more than happy sat at home in front of the box.

Perhaps I ought to start doing weekend comps again...rofl.

I normally play atleast twice a week sometimes even 3, HID works when I am off and vice verser so makes no odds.

If we do get a day off together I will just give it a miss, although I have got up, out and back before she was ready to go out so even then she didnt mind!
