First 2 in a comp

Played yesterday in the mid week stableford came 4th with 39 points but even more exciting got my first 2 in a competition so in the money. Easy 5 wood off the par 3 202yard 8th stopped within 10 feet of the pin dropped the putt oh yeh happy days

I always think the "2s" are a bit of a way to siphon money back to the poor low h'cap players. Which is OK with me.

I don't have many, then again I don't even play for the green on one of our par 3s.

6 2s that day so only got £7.60 but who cares just getting a 2 was a buzz.

I wish that was the case but the lower handicaps get more twos that I do off 14. I barely scrape 1 birdie a round and if that comes on a Par 3 then its usually because a flying pig picked up my ball and dropped it closer to the hole.
