Its all over the shop, do we need a bigger server or is it simply a fault that needs ironed out????

Same for me if we are talking about post counts, I keep looking at the same posts... my failt for trolling I guess

Yup, same here. Also losing the server constantly.

It's the same on both Firefox and Chrome.

We have raised this with the guys who look after the backend of the site so hopefully it'll be sorted ASAP. Hitting refresh helped me temporarily but not a proper fix

Just had this back from our system admin team - seems like it should be sorting itself today. Please PM or email me if you're still having issues and let em knwo what browser you are using

"this appears to be a database conflict issue between the slave and master database. In short, it's an issue that should fix itself once the slave database (the one that takes our daily load of users) copies the data from the master database.
This should happen almost simultaneously, however, if it doesn't then you can get problems as per the one that you sent over. The guys are going to monitor the situation but they seem pretty confident that the issue should rectify itself soon, if it hasn't already done so already."

Still doing it here, but it's inconsistent.

One time I log in it will show topics clear of new posts, but then the next time it might show there are new posts, but they're old ones again

Different problem now. When i log on it shows all the unread threads, but as soon as i read one, and then go back to the main menu, it shows non unread.

When I have read a post and go back to the menu it shows all posts read

I'm fed up with reading the same posts twice - especially when they're mine!!

Otherwise I'll be forced to join the 'Caravanning and trainspotting' forum. They're a boring bunch but their website works..
