Best golf shoes for season ahead - what do you recommend.

PUMA GS FAST!!!!!! I'm moving in to season three with my current ones. Comfy as slippers. Only snag with them is the top eyelet is not reinforced so gives way after 18 months. Luckilly I have a gadet that put a reinforment into the eyelet, so on they go. LOL
I have also purchased two back up pairs as they were soooooo comfy. Well, I didn't know they were going to last so blooming long!

Love the new ones that are out. Nearly bought another pair!!!!

Footjoy Premiere Series. Lasted 2 summers, playing weekly all year round; never let water in once.
Just bought a new pair (in last seasons colours in a sale) for the year ahead.

Look at True Linkswear........most comfy shoes I have ever owned. Marginally more expensive than Footjoys etc but well worth it.

FJ premiere Nothing beats them. Expensive but brilliant.
Bought new traditions a couple weeks ago there for this season as not as expensive, pretty sure they’ll be good too though very comfy on

I’ve got a couple of old pairs. Really comfortable in the summer. No good if there’s a hint of dew on the ground though, even when they were new.

Flippers at most of the courses in Dorset. Even the big three heathland courses around Bournemouth have been closed periodically.

New under armour shoes are supposed to be brilliant. They stretch with your foot so basically every size or width of foot is supposed to find them perfectly comfortable. They are expensive though.

No. I’m a UK11 and the sizing was spot on.

No. I’m a UK11 and the sizing was spot on.

I bought a pair of Kingscup last night from County Golf. They are selling them for £39.99.

I bought them in a 12,even though I'm normally an 11. I went off their sizing chart as well as the fact that 11's are generally borderline for me.

Out here I wear FJ all year round......we are lucky with the weather.

I wear Ecco Biom C4, which is probably the best golf shoe I've worn, and I would recommend. Truly a waterproof golf shoe, and decent comfort, decent grip as well for a spikeless. Although I think Air Max 90s or Jordan 1s are fine for summer golf.

For spikes i used to love the FootJoy Packards, but now I have 2 pairs of Jordans - 4s and 12 lows, and have some victory tour 4s on the way for a smarter style shoe.

I’m after a very comfortable shoe for the warm and dry season ahead (not fussed on them being waterproof)

I’ve gone through countless pairs of Adidas (awful) Nike (awful) Under Armour (not bad) and Puma (probably the best so far).

I think it’s about time I tried something else. Always gone with ‘style’ over anything but seems like I get through them quicker than I should.

Any recommendations appreciated

The Pumas I had were the best. Wore them out in about 10 years. Can't find them anymore. White with red trim.

They change models every 1-2 years so you have no chance from 10yrs ago. They still make decent shoes though.
