Got a BB match tonight vs a couple of guys off 7 & 9, so will be tough, but we are at home and will get lots of shots. Win this one and we will be 1 win away from the final at Forest Pines :)

Then B team match away from home tomorrow, I always enjoy these.

Captains Day on Sunday all finished off with a meal and a few fizzy drinks :D

The weather looks like being half decent too!

What's on the golf agenda for you?

Charity day tomorrow, hate the course we are playing (Abbey Hill) but it is a day run by one of my mates for 2 very very good causes so happy to support, will try not to go too crazy in the auction lol. Hopefully get through that unscathed and my back is loose enough again by monday for midweek club champs

I'm playing in the Monthly Medal at Nairn on Saturday morning
popping into Castle Stuart on he way home to see some of the Scottish open.
Sunday playing at Royal Dornoch with Seochris.

Club championships tomorrow, I'm now eligible for the seniors (old fart) then on Sunday its off to Lytham for the open.

Captains Day tomorrow which is Stableford Comp. Course so wet it was at risk I think but they can hardly close it as 90 odd society members splashed around it today! Big focus is Sunday though and round 2 of The Volvo for David and I playing at Northamptonshire County GC. Wish us luck!!

Good luck Amanda, not sure if youve played it before but Northampton County is a lovely track, plays quite tough (long and tight in places) hope you do better than me and my partner did in a match there last yr!

No golf this weekend I am working all weekend. On the plus side thought I do have tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday next week as my rest days.

Thanks. Neither of us have played there but both looking forward to it as have heard good things about it. My coach also said they have tricky, undulating, subtle greens but I like the challenge of those - good fun! Have been working hard with lessons and practice and feeling positive about my game so hoping to play well and a win would be a nice bonus.

Lesson tonight. Giving the roll up a miss for a lie in tomorrow and then I might well play Sunday instead. Trying to tie the opposition down to a date for the 2nd round of the Volvo and could be on Wednesday.

Just nicely fed and watered after phase 1, didn't quite get the result we were hoping for and lost on the last green, well they went 1 up witha birdie on the 17th and we halved the last with pars.

Played really well with 8 pars, 1 N/R when the driver misfired and 1 double. My partner couldn't back me up much unfortunately, and whinged about the rain, being tired, hungry etc and we had a few words on the 12th.

Not to worry, I am pleased to be finding some form again and found out I am off in the second group tomorrow in the league match :D

Society captains tomorrow , off 1 or scratch so no hope of winning that ha ha .. 35pts off 2 saw me loose on a countback to a lady member off 26/27 last outing ha ha..
club order of merit sunday morning , handicap reduction is the aim . even .2 would be most welcome , so hopefuly..
Lanzarote on monday for a week . family holiday , no golf , but looking forward to it
