Anything for the weekend?

I hope it's better down there than it is here at the moment. Been hosing it down all night, can't believe the amount of bloody rain we are getting.

Forecast looks dry for today and maybe like we might just get to see that big yellow thing tomorrow so fingers crossed.

Raining here in deepest Kent but then I'm off to work

Enjoy The Addington OS its some years since I played it and one day I shall return and try and do it justice!

Was supposed to play this morning, in fact about 30 minutes ago but course is closed after more heavy rain fell yesterday and last night on top of what simply hadn't drained away!

Looking for a dry course nearby, can't go another weekend only at the range :(

Work this Morning, The Boy's Karate Grading this afternoon, Tescos - that'll be Saturday gone.
Sunday - work

I love Weekends.....

Singles knockout last night, both off same h'cap so effectively a scratch game. 2 down after 3 with him starting with 3 birdies :(..level par from there on in luckily gave me a win with a birdie on 16 :)

Practice today ready for Club Champs weekend next Sat & Sun

Back on Black at the Grove for me on Sunday. 7152 yards on a wet soggy course. Driver, 3 wood into every par 4

got 9 holes in - way too soggy and repulsive out there tho. the course smells like a compost heap - think the grass is rotting!

played well with my nice new swing tho ;) the pro fixed my out to in swing on Wed so was keen to see if i could hit anything at all - and i can - so happy! ;)

course closed today and decision later whether rnd 2 of club champs going ahead tomorrow.

Hope its closed as will give me an extra weeks practice with the new swing change :)

Played in todays medal. Sht 3 under handicap so hopefully get another H/C reduction.

Practice planned for tomorrow morning as I chipped like a pillock today. Wasn't terrible, but my distance control was way out.

Played ok for most of the charity day until my calf went again :( dont think its as bad this time, hopefully just a strain not a tear but have scratched mondays comp and gonna be feet up for a couple of weeks again :(

Still, nearly time for the charity dinner and a beer or several lol (just need to get the ice off my leg)

Club championships cancelled today due to the rain, but course open so went out anyway.........wet, wet, wet, but very impressed with how the the new trolley performed...didnt think I'd be using the winter hedgehog wheels in july....

Cost me £50 for the babysitter as well.....rearranged for Sat 4th Aug....wife working again so another £50 to find...:(

The grove drains pretty well. I'd expect it to be pretty good if it doesn't rain over night.

I played brookmans park yesterday for the first time. Nice layout, but a bit of a swamp. Free though, so cant complain.
Invitation day today, so no golf for me.
Got a round planned tomorrow morning. Last time I saw the course, Tuesday, it was in really good condition. Very playable.
