Would probably get reported to the Social Services..... .she's OK for a round, but couldn't manage 2..........definitely not in the club champs either......tend to take a buggie out when I have her with me.....she looks after the GPS and gives me the yardage and keeps the scorecard.......she enjoys that......

Played ok for most of the charity day until my calf went again dont think its as bad this time, hopefully just a strain not a tear but have scratched mondays comp and gonna be feet up for a couple of weeks again

Still, nearly time for the charity dinner and a beer or several lol (just need to get the ice off my leg)

Oh no that's a nightmare - sorry to hear that and hopefully a mild strain or maybe some scar tissue reacting and may settle down quickly.

Didn't play today and not sure if I fancy it tomorrow. Quite keen to take the lesson changes and work on them plus a bit of short game work. Might be tempted to work on it tomorrow morning and play 18 late afternoon

Played 4BBB today.

I was keeping score for all players. After the front 9 I had 19pts, my partner had 20pts and both of our opponents had 17pts.

Totted up the better ball score and we were losing 23-21!

Lost 45-41 in the end and our opponents had 36 & 33 points respectively.

Medal called off - course is still flooded off so another week without a full game - damm.

Front 9 were open with a few temp greens where needed - had a practice scoot round and knocked a few pars and a birdie so not all bad.

Stableford planned for Monday is also off - I had took the day off to play it!

So the 3 qualifiers I was due to be in this month all off due to the rain / flooding , last months was cancelled for rain also and next month I am missing the 2 that I am eligible for as I am on hols.

Its putting a serious dent in my plans for the year.

Hoping the others comps get re-arranged but I understand that the medal is not going to be.

What makes it worse is that last Sat and today were both great weather but there is so much water still on the course in places its understandable that it is not all open.

getting a bit stir crazy now !

Played the Grove today as planned with a mate and a really good looking Spanish guy. Chatting away as we played, I asked him what he does and he replied he is an actor and a model. Told my other half to google him when I got home. Turns out he is Mr Kylie Minogue. Other half is gutted she didn't come up today to walk round
