Played with a couple of visitors at Ladybank today. Pretty rubbish golf on my part…… until the 12th. Pin measured at 166 yds, hit a 7 iron into blinding sun, never saw it after that. One of my playing partners thought it dropped but wasn’t sure. As we walked up, the guys coming off the next tee were clapping and saying it pitched about 5 foot and rolled straight in, for my second hole in one

Never had one myself, have twice been in a group where one of the players did, on neither occasion did any of us see it go in, one to an elevated green the other, like this one, into the sun.
