I just been down the 1st trying to find his pitch mark repairer he left in a bush when marking his ball.. unfortunately couldn't find before the light went. Sentimental value for him. Course looks amazing tho and least I picked up my charger adapter I lent him for the week to charge his car lol

Taking my dad down tomorrow to follow a few holes before I go to work.. he's never seen my course .. well the big course

But it's worth a watch

Not sure when it was filmed but I suspect the rough had been cut back so they can get it back up for the final qualification there, Ive been there several times and never seen it that low.

Depends how the course is requested to be set up..

We grew ours up a lot and then asked the pga how long they want it

I think he meant finch didn't play that well. Others just played worse and missed the cut

My mate had a rotten last 3 holes . Double, bogey birdie .. he said the wind had switched and he couldn't even reach 16 in 2. Now the day before he left his drive 103 yards from the pin (443 par 4) and holed out for eagle. Next day he couldn't even make it in 2 to the green! +5 for day 2 which took him out of it after his even par day before

The head pro hit +9 for the 2 days.. but then I don't think he's ever broken par there.. old head pro hit +21 for the 2 days .

Slim chance I'll get to see finch today. He was out early doors. He's on the 16th ATM but I'm not down there until 12:30 ISH so he might be done

Much better from him today. Level for front 9 but -3 as it stands for the back bringing him to level par for the tournament

I back him to card a birdie on 18 (par 5) as he has both days previous

Could get into the clubhouse under par

He just carded a -5 for the day.. that's only 2 off the course record (my mate has that lol )

He's -2 now for the entire event..leader -9 which are teeing off in 10 mins. My dad's just arrived we heading down there

Down for an hour with my dad. We followed a group down 10 (short par 4, very strong into wind) they got par a piece. Watched them tee off the par 3. Then stayed on that tee for a bit to see approaches into 10. Finally followed one group down 11. Stayed by the green to see a group get close. Nice birdie from one of them. Round of applause from the 2 strong crowd of me and My dad lol

But he enjoyed seeing My course

They usually have another competition going on the side between celebrities. The one in Ireland was a few weeks ago in Mount Juliet, there was a few big names from other sports/tv/music playing. The celebrity side of it was a one day thing in the Irish Legends. This looks slightly different as Bullard is listed to play tomorrow too.
Maybe they come up with different formats at various venues just to create a bit of public interest

Two tee start this morning, finch sitting tied for 12th but a big gap to the top. Could get a top 5 finish tho with another strong round

Course will be gettable today. Wind is lowest it's been all week with only 18mph gusts
