Cor my mates course record could be in danger today if finch carries on...

Bogey on 1 but then birdie on 2 AND 3 he's now -3 for the tournament with plenty of bird chances coming up

Can we see a live leaderboard anywhere do you know?

Just for reference the top 10 and ties here go straight into final qualifying for the open in 2026

Well he blew it with a +3 to finish 1 over for the event. No top 10

A post on our club's Facebook page says Seb on Golf was there yesterday! Not sure if he was filming or just playing there randomly. I guess we'll wait and see. Can't think why he'd be at our humble little gaff. Hope he didn't have those Big Wedge idiots with him.

Is he good these days? He was going a bit too MrBeast for me and I stopped watching him.

On the handicap list posted here recently he seems to be scratch now? Back then he was a 4 or 5, I think.

As in good at golf or is his content good? As you say he's close to scratch or plus 1 according to the YouTube handicap tracker. He's not posting a vast amount of content compared to some, it seems to be one or two vids a month. Obviously he has the Big Wedge channel as well now, but I can't stand those guys. I only followed Seb on Golf a few months ago when he did that big creator thing with loads of the other main ones (Shiels, Finch, ForeBros, Gaz, Tubes, etc etc)

Not a YouTuber but enjoy yip_stickler on instagram who highlights outrageous bandits over the USA

the absolute front on some of them and how they get away with it is astounding ha

This is a long watch, but worth it for the final stages.

This could be the future of golf as entertainment - a much more enjoyable / insightful/ etc watch than 99% of the tour events.

The YouTubers pairing is the key to make it less bland/forced/mechanical (e.g. “the match”) and bring most entertainment out of even most reserved pros.

+ no meaningless TV commentary + no commercial breaks + can skip forward at any point that gets a bit boring. 🙃

Also having the YT’ers who actually can play near pro level golf helps.

Erik Anders lang’s recent interview with joaquin niemann is great, not just bog standard golf questions or much to do with LIV or anything, a lot about growing up and golf in chile etc. Quite interesting

Finch is playing Dundonal final qualifying. Starting at 7:50. So is Lee Westwood, but one of them (Finch, i think) is starting on the 10th.
A couple of other tour pros as well. Will not be easy to progress from there.
