YouTubers.

Most people I talk to haven’t liked the first one. The second is much the same.

What I can say is the production quality of the LIV stuff is a mile away from each of their own channels, which has to be expected.

Golf Life had the opportunity to be on a 3m subscriber channel and took it. I hope it does them well.

Interestingly, it’s mentioned the match was in February.
Really?? It's a match between two prominent YouTube golfers just like any other. Not sure what's not to like really? I enjoyed it. I'll be watching the second one too.

Yep, agreed, not for everyone I guess but if you like watching YouTube golf then this is no different. Enjoyed the first, enjoying the second.

Part 2 of the JB Vs RS golf bidder challenge has dropped.
Shall I bother 🤔
I didn't mind the video as a whole, but...

The worst thing about it is their complete lack of understanding of the rules of golf. Rick was showing Jimmy (and so potentially millions of other golfers) how to take relief from a path.

At least this time he was using one club length rather than two. But he was taking the club length from the path, and not from the nearest point of complete relief.

Could have used the rules to better advantage, but lack of knowledge etc.

SMH.

Yeah that was annoying me - I think Rick was trying not to help him too much and give him a good lie, since he never mentioned that 'complete relief' means your feet are off the path as well. He ended up placing it in a spot where his right heel was still on it.

Anyway, I watched this last night and still enjoyed. I think Jimmy is a little bit more relaxed with the banter when it's on his own channel - or maybe Rick's editor just toned him down a bit in the first match, I don't know.

With an unlimited budget, it went exactly as I knew it would. Jimmy picked clubs that he knew he'd be able to get the best out of. Rick picked a load of expensive clubs that he liked looking at. And the result was therefore a foregone conclusion.

I finished off the second part last night, I got the impression JB was easing off at times to keep it interesting.
My thoughts from part 1 stands, is RS even single figures ?

I hope JB respects his fellow competitors at regional qualifying today and doesn't try to film.

He's between scratch and +1 based on his video content only: https://handicap-tracker.com/

Admittedly, he doesn't have many under-par rounds so I think he could be a 1 or a 2 pretty soon.

Under par doesnt always matter tho, with course rating and slope his score diffs on the courses he plays compared to us will be much lower

I'll let you know how finchy looks when he comes through at 4:30 ISH

Yeah I know, but on his record there, one of his under par differentials is the 20th round, and when that drops off he doesn't have another one to replace it.

What's the replacement compared tho? Is it really high? Haven't looked

-0.6 dropping off. Next best is 1.59. So he'll go up around 0.4 which will put him at +0.2 I think, so basically scratch. The next two oldest ones after that are counters too though. So he'll be creeping up unless he posts a worldy score soon.

Finch's new video at Royal Cinque Ports is the most positive he's been in a while. Plays well and it's fresher to watch than his usual when he's sulking.
