I thought it was fantastic. Brilliant stories, Monty was good fun, good to see him relaxed and just playing golf. Brilliant. Loved it
Monty as relaxed as I've seen him. Met him at Silvermere just before the RC he was captaining and he was in good form then. Was very honest about his picks and dropping Casey and very approachable on the night

Agree. I know he loves a good old yarn, but that's kind of a requirement when you are in front of the camera. Came across as very friendly, and was happy to take the mick out of himself when he hit bad shots.

Isn't that like a lot of magazine pieces that one produces and it appears in a very similar guise the following month in another title. Isn't it like a lot of content produced online. Someone finds something or there is a new topic and everyone is rushing to produce the same thing. Only so many ways it can be said. I accept if thumbnails etc are similar that is lazy but I dn't know how many people he has helping prouce content compared to the likes of Finch etc who have a team
But there’s also people who put a lot of work into original content, with or without a team, and for someone to steal the idea and pass it off as their own is a bit crappy.
Copyright is a contentious issue. There’s always gray areas. Bucking on trends is normal, and going with the zeitgeist is normal. But straight up taking someone’s work and passing it as your own shouldn’t be acceptable.

I agree. I do think though when there is a new fad for driving/chipping etc everyone dives onto it. I do agree though it shouldn't take much to put some degree of original spin on it

A lot of people are big into Danny Maude and he occasionally offers a good tip, but the last few videos I've caught of his I've switched off pretty sharpish as I can just tell it's going to be a thinly-veiled ad for something like Hackmotion or similar. Lots of, "and this is where the <x> is brilliant because it tells you..."

As a brief respite from influencer madness, I came across this :
Watching Ludvig hit golf balls, and listening to him talking about it, is wondedfully therapeutic.
He makes it seem so easy, I wonder why we all don't just do this. Are we stupid?
Also a few hitting into the wind tips for Orikoru ;-)

The Monty video with Bullard is good but he annoys the life out of me that after every sentence he says okay? Or Yeah? You know?

Could never take to Montgomery. Nobody should ever look that miserable all the time.
Years ago I watched him at an event on the Asian tour. He was humping and glumphing his way round, moaning to his then wife Eimear.

Afterwards he was doing a Q&A for the crowd with Els couldn't believe the difference, he was relaxed ,witty and charming.
Don't know which represented his more common persona, but it was maybe just on the course when it looked like he was chewing a wasp.

I've met him at a golf clinic so I assume he had to be "charming" Monty but very approachable and a very dry wit

Just a quick one. You might want to give the Soccer AM Golf Life episode a miss. It's banterlicious etc which I why I turned it off after the first hole!
Me too. Shame as i used to like the old Soccer AM lineup with Helen and Lovejoy. As soon as I saw a metal detector I knew it wasn't gonna be for me, so lasted as far as the first tee shot!
