Every part of my game has the capacity to let me down and at some point will do, often during the same round.

. Dropped 6 shots... only 24 putts, and a season average of 28.2.

Thats frightening stats. If I could putt like that, I would be a pretty decent golfer. I don't think I have ever had less than 30 putts in a round. My golfshot stats are average 34 putts. In fact both of my best medal rounds of 2over had 30 and 32 putts.

Maybe thats more to do with not hitting my irons close enough.

Either way, your putting must be far better than most

+1! If one aspect of my game is off, then pretty much everything else will be too! In these instances then good company and playing partners compensates for a crap golf game!

Irons for me.

I'm dodgy off the tee and a short game my 4 year old daughter would be ashamed of but I can hit my irons really well. If they were the same level as e rest of my game I'd be off abut 15 I think!
