I have no preference but in your opinion who is the biggest brand in golf at the moment and why, I personally feel taylormade at the moment, due to there marketing, I feel although it can be annoying everyone talks about/uses them.

Cleveland will be huge in the UK one day.

World wide brands are very different, each country has its own lead brands.

In the UK I think Ping and Titliest are the biggest brands, with TM next and the rest following in some order.

Cleveland wedges are quality, and as much as I'm considering changing my Cleveland irons I love them also. Think nike may end up there as well

I am already Cleveland Driver and wedges. I will change irons one day soon, maybe not this year but maybe next year, the same goes for hybrids.

My putter isnt going to change but only because of how much I spent on it and how good it has been to me so far. I will be all Cleveland bar that eventually.

It depends on how you define biggest.
The highest turnover?
Most actual clubs sold..?
Most used on Tour?

I'd suspect TM turnover the most numbers and the most cash too at the moment.
They sold a huge number of RBZ woods and R11 and S drivers.
They also seem to have the highest exposure on Tour.
Doesn't make them the best..........

How are you measuring this. Reputation, unit sales, publicity?

I would say TM are the biggest because they shout the loudest, Ping, Mizuno follow and then you have Cally, Titleist, Cleveland, Cobra etc. Not sure if that is anything other than my view of the market and certainly I don't have anythign to back this up. If someone can quantify the parameters then I may have a different view

I agree Cleveland could be a brand about to explode. Their CG16 tour irons were lovely as are this years offerings. Wedges are excellent but I do feel their driver and wood range let them down still as an all round brand

@ homer just a case of your opinion and why you think, not measuring it on anything specific

Their drivers are VASTLY under rated! As are their woods, I already have the Classic XL which is a phenomenal club.

If their woods and driver are letting them down then their putters, irons, wedges and hybrids must be holing out every shot.

I probably see more TM around than any other make. Titleist and Mizzy will never be the most used brand as thy are seen as the better players club, so, by definition, will not appeal to the mass market. Callaway might be a good bet!

Personal opinion but I'd class ping as the biggest brand and best. TM is almost as bad as mobile phone and computer suppliers in my eyes no sooner have you bought it a new ones coming out. I'm a hacker so maybe don't get the full benefit but how much can technology in clubs change every 6 months? After saying all that it brings the price down of the second hand clubs then that's good for me.

In terms of brand I would say TaylorMade. I tend to see much more advertising for TM than any others and seems to be one of the more discussed brands on here, even if it is sometimes negative remarks.

Accushnet Europe for their ball in particular then probably shoes, wedges which probably outsel most, then add not as popular (but popular enough) irons and drivers/fairways then their clothing range.

For those unsure this is the brand of Titleist, Footjoy, Vokey, Scotty Cameron.

Ping. Others come and go but Ping just seem to go on and on. Even several of the pro's playing at the weekend had sneaked Ping clubs into their TM/Mizzy/Cally bags.
