Just walked the length of Maidens beach and back, strangely not many folk around.

Rain held off last night to allow us our last evening at the bowls.

How about the whole of July?? Had enough rain this year ta. Looks like a massive storm due on Thursday or Friday round my way. Sunday, when I'm playing golf, it now says it's 9°c. Nine! From 23 to 9 in six days. Mental.

This lake near me is down about 2 foot and the whole area still has large cracks in it. Need a prolonged spell to get the water table up…


I also have about 4 Ton of wood in my garden which I’m itching to start burning

I have a Viburnum plicatum and two different Quince bushes in full bloom a month or two early.

The plants in our garden need a full diving suit to survive at the moment. No chance of anything coming early here. My wife has things to plant but has held off as she thought they would just rot at this stage.
