supposed to be golfing tomorrow morning. Forecast is -2, "feels like" -7. Can't say I'm too keen.Had laryngitis all week and the forecast for my football tomorrow night is -2°, with a 'RealFeel' of -5°. Hmmm.. currently trying to see if someone can take my place.

I played today in 0 degree and only felt like -1 was ok. Friday on the other hand feels like -5 apparently, longed that off and booked a fitting instead lol
it was -5 here this morning and another dumping of snow overnight so decided to cycle in on my Fatbike. Took a bit of a detour to get a decent ride in. off road was fine, but had half a mile of main road to navigate, its got pavement, but it was un rideable from snow off vehicles and over hanging trees that has frozen. it was like riding on slippery rock. a harder workout than i was expecting and was sweating buckets getting changed at work.

First time I've ever had to use my ice scraper on the inside of the car
And the gearstick would hardly move...I guess the oil thickened.
It moved smoothly, just very slowly.

Daft thing is that its been colder...it was "only" -5 here last night feeling -10
We've had -10 feeling like -bloody hell and the car has just been frosty on the outside......
Just spent a couple of hours clearing the paths and driveway, but expecting more snow later.
Bitter outside today but been lucky not to have had the snow of others so golf looking on for the weekend and getting warmer albeit with stupid winds

Crazy driving on our local single track roads.
How a BMW driver expects driving at 50 mph on a blind bend, into a blinding low sun, in frozen conditions, entering a 20mph village is acceptable is beyond me.
Me and the dog are OK but the driver looked a bit shaken.
At least three accidents within a mile of our village today.

after 5 days of snow and low temp, the big thaw has hit. when i went to bed the car had a foot of snow on it this morning clear.

Just back from walking the dogs, absolutely tipping it down. Going to do so all day according to the forecast. Course closed, and likely to be so for the next few days at least. Really can't remember a worse winter for golf.
