To be fair, he did fall away on the first 6 holes...That aged well![]()
A fair bit of bad luck though.
Such an amazing recovery!

Since we are condemming people.....throw them out of the club for.....throwing clubs, slow play/not letting people play through, not raking sand or repair divots, swearing, coloured socks, not buying rounds of drinks, changing shoes in the parking lot.....there's no end to the sins committed by golfers!!!
I like that one.Not buying a round. Thatās the biggest and baddest.
Mate of mine, retired Chief Inspector, got more money than he knows what to do with. Heās minted. And he is happy to tell everyone.
The reason heās minted? He never puts his hand in his pockets. Tightest bloke youāll ever meet.
His nickname in the cops was Crime. As in ācrime doesnāt pay.ā
Kudos to you for staying up and watching it though.Another dull us open leads to another dull winner. Taking nothing away from JJ but when it's an average pro who's just got across the line as opposed to seeing one of the top boys (your rahms, Rory's, Scotty , Xander , Brysons) it just gets even more boring (for me anyways) id much rather have seen Adam Scott win than jj, he will be another wydom Clark who won't get near another major.
The positives is he will get in the Ryder cup team and hamper the USA like the year Clark won.

I thought it was riveting by the end. A ton of players around the lead, a real endurance test.Another dull us open leads to another dull winner. I think that's a harsh judgement on Spaun @PJ87 . He nearly won the Players this year, this wasn't a fluke. Comes across as a nice guy, I'm happy for someone different to win. If it's only a small pool that keeps winning.
I went to bed during the rain break, the final leaders were not those I was expecting to see. Scott and Burns. Scary back nines for them.
Some people will delete that video from their memory banks. Doesn't fit the evil Hatton train of thought
