TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Finished Cobra Kai at 1am (ffs) last night.

Absolutely superb end to what has been a cheese-laden but very enjoyable show.

It definitely lost it's way a bit around season 3 and/or 4, but the way they've tied up literally every lose end (and the over-riding redemption arc, that's stretched all 6 series, that's concluded) was really well done.

Did the first two episodes of Amandaland the other night - spin-off from Motherland. I was worried that 100% Amanda would be too cringe, and on the first episode I was right, it was pretty hard to bear... Second episode though was better. And judging by the IMDB ratings the remaining four episodes improve further still. Will fill a couple more nights until we find our next long-term series to watch.

Was a little sad when it finished

It was really great feel good telly with a lot of cheese and humour in there

Really enjoyed it

Watched it this afternoon.
He's up against a Dutch giant, he makes Reacher look like Ronnie Corbett! 😁. They haven't shown the obvious fight scene yet!
There is a punch in the trailer, you might have skipped through it.
Where much like WWF/WWE reaction.

We watched and it definitely grew on us. There were a good few laugh out loud moments as we got to know the characters better.

Zero Day on Netflix. So far we have watched up to ep 4, so 2 left.
Its a little odd in a way. The premise is very plausible but there needs to be a little more background to the characters and their history.
Will still watch the last 2 though:)

After looking to fill the void since Linesman finished, I’ve a few things I’m really looking forward to lined up: Last few episodes of Cobra Kai, A Thousand Blows, Zero Day and Reacher series 3.

Just finished Yellowstone S1, glad we got recommended to stick with it, excellent stuff 👍
I've just started season one after reading all the comments here.
I'm finding it tough going, seems all over the place and patchy. Add to that I find it difficult to hear and understand what they're saying.
So I'll keep at it and hope it improves.

Think it’s a but meh so far….. Not sure why but the character has changed, seems more nervous and hyper than the books suggest, and they all seem to be racing to speak their lines as quickly as they can, forgetting to emote the conversation. Probably stick with it but at the current state, don’t care for another season.

Finally finished the three series box set of Secret Army. It might have been made in the late 70s but wow does it stand up to the passage of time. The story lines and characters were excellent and the three main German officer characters, Kessler, Mainz and Reinhardt were brilliantly played and developed.
