First 3 episodes of Reacher were superb. A much better start than the last series.
Very silly and OTT in parts, but that's part of the charm.

That's funny, they must have been pushing that in the app as we watched the first episode of it as well, on a whim. It was not bad but a bit dull really. I normally love Diane Morgan but they gave her absolutely zero to work with with the script. I read up on it and half the cast changes for series two as well. Not sure we'll bother continuing. The Cockfields on BBC2. Three episodes in and really enjoying it.

Fair play, I wasn't aware about Bobby Ball passing away, so that makes sense. It's just often tough to get into a program when you know the cast is changing. The cast change was odd but I got over it. Bobby Ball died so Ray is has to change I guess. I don't think it worked as well but only watched one episode with his replacement (Gregor Fisher). Simon has a new girlfriend so that explained that cast change. I think Sue Johnston is hilarious. Last night there was her farty neighbour friend. We were in stitches!
IZero Day - Netflix
Looking very good so far
Love trainspotting 1.
Another remake that relies more on nostalgia-baiting than it does creativity.Watched the first in the new series of Bergerac. Hoping it picks up. The original worked to a large degree because it showed so much of the island and showed it at its best. It was attractive and at times glamorous.
Episode 1 could have been anywhere. It's just another detective show with character names that we recognise. Hopefully it picks up in ep2.
I thought it was pretty good.Zero Day - was not blown away at the start. Wish i had taken the hint and not watch all 6. Another bad Netflix wasted opportunity
For some reason I've watched the last two episodes of Dragons Den. A programme that originally used to annoy me as it was quite antagonistic, with rich people trying to take over and seemingly rip off budding entrepreneurs, who if they didn't agree or kow tow to them were castigated for being bad at business. Then a few deluded people were paraded in front of them so they could be criticised by wealthy folk - a bit like the really sad acts on BGT and X Factor.
However, it seems that the tenor and ethos of the show has completely changed despite a couple of the Dragons being the same. The last two episodes were heartwarming and uplifting with the Dragons (the name still annoys me) sincerely investing their time and money on some interesting, clever and life changing fledgling businesses. Really worth a watch now.
Thought it was brilliant.Watching Life On Mars, missed it when it came out! Brilliant.
