It’s time well spent.Somewhat late at getting to this, but just watched Ted Lasso season 1 over two days. Haven’t enjoyed watching anything as much as this in ages.
Yup Mr and Missis T enjoyed first episode last night. Sat watching the second.Virdee, BBC 1.
Possibly the best police detective drama on the beeb since LOD.
Added to watchlist.
The Americans on Channel 4 catch-up. 6 series 13 episodes each so plenty to keep you going.
I would thoroughly recommend watching 1883 as it is the origin story of Yellowstone. It won’t make you hanker for visiting the US as it was 150 years ago, but it is great, powerful TV.I've been meaning for us to do it for some time...but eventually this evening we sat down and watched Ep 1 S1 of Yellowstone - and it lived up to what I've heard - how very excellent. And the scenery...wow. Almost makes me want to visit the US. We will most definitely watch on.
Watch as a prequel - or good too watch after Yellowstone...?I would thoroughly recommend watching 1883 as it is the origin story of Yellowstone. It won’t make you hanker for visiting the US as it was 150 years ago, but it is great, powerful TV.
It is not necessary for the plot or characters to see it first but it certainly shows why the land is so precious to the family and why they fiercely defend the ranch.Watch as a prequel - or good too watch after Yellowstone...?
We are. Getting towards the end of season 1. I think its really good, not full of jokes but some really dry lines and oddly engaging characters.Anyone watching Hacks on Sky? It's a comedy about an ageing female comic in Vegas. She gets pushed into accepting a young comedy writer to reinvigorate her act.
My wife didn't find it funny, I'm quite enjoying it. It isn't a flat out comedy, it's quite thoughtful at times.

We finished Unforgotten last night, decent enough. Then started Virdee on the iplayer, bit cliched so far but we'll stick with it.
