You should try Pinwinnie whisky , it was distilled by Inverhouse in Airdrie until 1985, the bottle comes in a purple velvet bag, lovely stuff if you can find any.Ended up with some visitors tonight, so cracked open a 2000 Dalwhinnie, absolutely amazing dram, not a cheap dram but absolutely A1
I know it’s been done to death, but a couple of ex servicemen, 88 and 87 yr old have a whisky night every Thursday. There gave tipple is an 18yr old glenfiddich.Opened this last week, really good dram, just a splash of water releases the smokiness, it’s certainly ful bodied

Anyway the branch chairman went around two weeks ago. They told him he was a heathen because he wanted a splash of water in his whisky.
