@Arthur Wedge social media can be wonderful and also total poison and a well of stupidity. It really isn't a place to take a barometer of how things are. I'm not on the angry media, I find it hard enough with the local idiots on our town FB page  . I would not be taking any notice of what the armchair warriors are saying.

On a happier note, imagine a team with Palmer and Salah in it. That would be worth watching.

I agree ☝️

Normally it’s not too much of an issue but even some supposed “big” accounts have got involved and Carragher has responded and it’s getting into the tens of thousands now

Results will matter for the owners , results keep the money coming in , keep the team in the Prem

Fans will see it differently at times but it’s the owners that will pull the plug

Leicester City are a bit of a departure from that. A few points off the bottom three and getting the odd result when they sacked Steve Cooper, the reason the owner pulled the plug on him was primarily performances.

All could see that, despite picking up points here and there, the performances were very much Championship level, and the owner realised he had to act before those performances started getting results which dragged them deep into the mire.

O'Neil been told he's staying and they'll help him in January, 3 wins in 24 games.

Every other club he'd be long gone.

We're an absolute joke of a football club.

The owners deserve what's going to happen.

Yeah that’s a fair shout - was a preemptive strike to get rid before it got worse

Who is there to come in , they have sold a lot of his best players and there is every chance that he gets a run and back into mid table

But there isn’t a queue of managers around

Would you like j-lo back?

I don't care at this point.

We've sounded out managers and every single one of them has said no. Do you know how bad you have to be as owners to be knocked back for one of twenty jobs? Every out of job manager would jump at the chance to get back to management (within reason), and we can't attract one so he has to continue.

The amount of goals conceded will be a record by May, if not sooner.

£750 for this season and they said they'd benchmarked against clubs likes Villa and West Ham. They're joke.

Ironically we are the nearest to goals conceded as you. Until last night there was 1 goal in it in 2024!!!

Phil, I've watched every game this season, we can't defend, and a manager with that win ratio should not be in work.

They have sold his best players I agree, but that squad should not be where it is.

Plenty of managers would want the job, but not many when they're told their best players will be sold and they'll get given kids for the future, to sell for profit.

The last bit is the issue

Last night was an example of things just not falling for the team - screwed by VAR

O Neill is still developing as a manager but it’s a tough gig

Moyes is the only one a club in the bottom half would touch

We haven't got time for him to develop as a manager, not at this rate. The whole team looks woefully under coached and that's on him, I keep seeing people say he's an up and coming coach? Never in a million years does he get another Premier league job, nice guy but not good enough.

When he did his stint on MNF his tactical knowledge seemed very impressive

He did well at Bournemouth and then when he first came in at Wolves but it’s clearly been a poor 12 months

It would be a shame to see him go but as you say it’s hard to give them time to develop

Moyes would be a good appointment to settle the club

Moyes doesn't want it, due to the restrictions on buying anyone, got the 3rd richest owners and we don't spend any money. Couldn't make it up.
