Ok with two games left

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the new format

I miss playing the same team home and away

Do like playing multiple different teams

The comp seems balanced

And you seems to play more games against top opposition

On balance I quite like the new format....gives some of the teams just outside the top 24 something to fight for...but I think that largely there is still no jeopardy for the big teams....even if you dont finish top 8 you should go through over a 2 legged playoff...and I'm assuming that the draw for the playoff games would be seeded, thus reducing the jeopardy....would be much better if it was a free draw. Also its good for some of the more unfashionable teams like Brest and Lille who might get a few results in early fixtures and have something to fight for in the last three games.

Glenn Hoddle is a dreadful co-commentator. Dreadful. Given the inane drivel he comes out with, it’s nothing short of astonishing that he ever managed at international level.

Having Clattenburg on the commentary team is insane. He gets on the microphone every time there is an offside call to make, explaining the offside rule each time, and what might make a player on or offside.

I mean, we know what offside is. Just shut up

He was horrific from what I saw. He had a free header, where he could have shot or knocked it sideways to team mate. Instead, he almost glanced it on to his own foot to kill the chance. Not long after, he had a one on one, clearly failed again. Subbed
Yes he missed two good chances.
But the service to him wasn’t great.
We struggled to break them down.

Massive irritation of mine is how they've given ex refs a new job on tv.
Apart from if they give Coote a job.

I wonder how much they pay him. I'd rather they didn't bother, save money in other areas they are throwing it away, and maybe my subscription could come down marginally

Mike Dean is the one for me that should never be allowed on again, yet they've got him ruining Soccer Saturday. A dog of a referee.

Clattenburg went to Saudi as well didn't he? Not sure he needs to work either.
