Lol think lemina needs to watch the playback again. Understand his frustration but to flat out lie lol he st'arted the handbags and then lost his head with his own team mates and coaches

I mean someone doesn't go from wanting to shank hands with you to wanting to floor you within 5 seconds without some kind of reason

From the video you've posted there, it looks like Bowen started things with a two handed push.
Am I missing something?

Mike Dean is the one for me that should never be allowed on again, yet they've got him ruining Soccer Saturday. A dog of a referee.

Clattenburg went to Saudi as well didn't he? Not sure he needs to work either.
Don't watch Soccer Saturday anymore. However, when I've happened to flick over to it, or seen a clip from it somewhere, I notice Dean gets his own little pod at the end of the room. It probably makes him feel extra important, but in reality it looks like the others didn't want him sitting at the big boys table and so stuck him near the toilets.

Your missing the bit before. Bowen goes to shake his hand. He ducks away and says something which starts the whole thing.

Both of them at fault but lemina claiming he shook his hand and nothing when he rowed with every one of his players afters is BS

Apropos nothing in particular, I attended a talk by Clattenburg hosted by the Herts refs association a few years ago (my son was a junior ref).
It was pretty interesting, and certainly much better than I expected. I don't suppose he got paid much for it, and it probably gave a bit of a boost to the poor sods who ref the amateur game.
He was also (imho) a pretty decent ref.

I always judge a decent ref on if I feel they screwed my team in anyway, can't remember any from him, so yeah good ref.

You can't see clearly from that angle. It looks like he may have begrudgingly half-arsed a handshake, but Bowen kicked off because he didn't look him in the eye while he did it. It's a carbon copy of the Tuchel and Conte incident. Both of them are pathetic. The handshake is a perfunctory formality anyway, just get it done and get off the pitch.

Running very low on confidence right now

Needs to get a goal under his belt carrying on working hard and being part of the reason why we are doing well
Player signs for any club other than Liverpool for big money, doesn't impress for over 2 years, and they are labelled not good enough and a huge flop (or, even after watching them in their first game, that conclusion is arrived at)

Player signs for Liverpool, still doesn't impress after 2 years, they are simply running low on confidence.

Well, that is how I see it anyway, when certain people arrive at their conclusions

He has impressed the fans that matter plenty of times 👍

A lot of the time, someone who is labelled a flop is appreciated by their own fans because they can see them putting the work in and not being rewarded. I remember years back Soldado was ostensibly a flop for Spurs, but I remember him playing really well, working hard, had a few assists, but the goals simply wouldn't come for him. Probably similar here for Núñez.

He is working hard but this season it’s just not happening for him , the manager has even highlighted that ,

He did ok last season 18 goals and 13 Assists- should have been more

He will keep getting chances and come the end of the season the manager will prob have a decision to make

But if he doesn’t work out then it’s going to be a disappointing signing because he looked like he could be a real star

I don’t doubt he’s putting the effort in,he’s just not very good.

To be fair to him, as a fan that is all you can ask and most of what you want. Fans will love him because they see him giving everything. If it isn't coming off, they will forgive him, to an extent. Not putting the effort in , cardinal sin.

As you say, no problem with work ethic, he just isn't up to it at that level.

I think he may well be one of those players that will suit La Liga etc
