How did the first double game week go for everyone? Any TC's used?

Feeling quite smug as I took the risk and went TC on Rice, who had the second biggest haul of the week despite Arsenal scoring a lot less than expected. Managed to crawl upto 2nd with 97 points but it looks tight at the top!

No, I just had the normal captaincy on Gabriel. Too soon for triple captain. I think City are guaranteed a double week at some point, since they have a week coming with no game so they must do? I'll likely use it on Haaland when that happens.

City will have a double but how do you know Haaland will be fit? It will also likely be around the CL knock outs so could easily be rested for one of the league games. I took a chance on getting it in early due to the above. Will probably use the wildcard the week before a future double and then bench boost for it so try and get 15 players playing twice. Couldn't do that this week as Wolves was the only other team doubling...

I mean, you've got to use Triple Captain at some point, and I'd rather use it on someone who scores goals and has a double gameweek. He's not going to miss both games is he - the first TC I used on him against West Ham and he scored twice I think. The issue with Arsenal is that only their defensive assets are any use, and I didn't really want to TC a defender - they didn't get a clean sheet in either game.

True, he got more TC points for me in GW6 than Rice did in the double just gone. The risk of injury is still there and sometimes it's better to have the points in the bag now. Would never TC a defender, too much risk. All it takes is a world class strike, defensive mistake or a penalty etc and clean sheet is gone. Can see why some took a chance on Gabriel as he's good with attacking points and most expected at least one clean sheet from those two games. A shame he got the assist though to salvage it a bit!
