The main difference is Kane? I've a lot of time for him but the game against Greece was so much better. Not that Watkins is all that BUT maybe his pace and movement creates stuff around him...

Shows imo all what’s wrong with Kane.
Dropping to deep into a congested midfield then the two times we have got behind them on the wing there’s nobody in the box.
Then to cap it all he’s deeper than the CBs and gets himself booked.

England are just far to slow

Great result, didn’t see that result at half-time, no doubt the sending off made a difference.

Shows what we know as I’d of made a few changes to start the 2nd half, yes Kane would of been one of them, I didn’t think he was that bad in the 1st half, I just think he drops deeper through frustration and I didn’t see much intent from the midfield players to break Ireland down.

Some quality goals in the 2nd half and great to see the chances taken.

Look forward to Tuchel now, at least he’ll have a couple friendlies to start with as we’ve won the group.

Great ball from Kane but it was the first time a midfielder had got in the box ahead of him.
He looked ok when Sloane came on and he dropped deeper.

At least the manager tried different things in his games .
If it didn’t work he changed it.
If only Southgate had done that!

Hall played well at LB if he keeps that up he will be there a long time.

Got to defend my boy now the international break is over haven't I

I enjoyed the two games overall, for me more than anything, it was great to see so many players get minutes, great to give Watkins a start, we need to make sure our second choice strikers are ready to play if needed, Kane doesnt need to play every international match!

Quick Kudos to Hall, he might just have secured himself a consistent call up! Great to see!

Excited to see what Tuchel does, I expect him going for a good blend of experience and new talent and some good football!

I like to have a joke but I dont read back multiple pages so apologies if I missed some pro-Watkins posts.

I'm very worried about Konsa, he's been ever-present for us for a few years now.
