Yeah can understand that but blimey there are clowns 🤡 everywhere - seems a bit mad to be losing job over it

Unless of course he was smashed on powder

Did he say about kloop being a German (insert insult) because that's the real issue.

We have it here, if someone posts something on social media that's questionable they can be sacked for bringing the company into disrepute

It's in most company handbooks now, the thing that everyone is told about, nods in agreement, briefly flicks at, then forgets completely. I put ours together so remember most of it pretty well. The social media section is very real and relevant now.

They have to deal with players pulling out and use the nations league as a time to play fringe players and see how players work

That includes not having to pick Kane but we know they won’t ever happen
That’s not how it works though, you need to get the players to gel, 7 of the 9 withdrawls have been injury related, these things happen.

Imagine the stick Tuchel will get at the next comp if he says he’s not sure of his first XI as he’s not had chance to play them.

After this week the next fixture is late March, 4 months away, Tuchel will want to start with his preffered squad.

There are plenty of games to get players to gel - there are lots of WC or Euro Qualifiers where the team have the chance to gel - the Nations League and friendlies should be for the fringe players

Friendlies, fair enough, but do you really want the Nations League to turn in playing nobody’s with fringe players, it’s another route in to the Euro’s, we have no choice but to put effort in to it, plus the better we perform in it, the higher standard of team we play.

You’ve been one of the more vocal saying we always get beat against the top teams, well the Nations League is a way of ensuring we play against Europe’s best.

The Nations league is nothing more than glorified friendlies -a UEFA tool to try and get more money into the coffers

I think the moral of all this is that in this day and age of camera phones and everyone potentially having access to an audience of millions, just don't bother saying or doing anything that might upset or offend anyone at all. Doesn't matter who you are or what you do for a living, it can easily come back and bite you on the arse.

In other words just say nothing .......... ever ........... at all.
Unfortunately there are utter twonks who spend their lives trolling social media looking for something to be offended over.
If one person finds something 'offensive', the chances are that it's their problem and their problem only.
Just because someone finds something offensive, it doesn't nescessarily mean that it is offensive, it just means that it's offensive to them.

Gentle reminder that GM does not allow posts which are potentially defamatory. Whilst aware of a further video allegedly showing a Premier League referee in dubious circumstances this summer, there is to be no further speculation or discussion here please.

The reason why can be seen here.

Personally I am fed up with the complaining of too many games. Increase squad sizes to 30 and spread the load and get on with it. It's a team / squad game not an 11 player game anymore and the reason for this is the amount of money players and managers earn. I mean earning a million or 2 is way beyond anything most people outside of Movies and music can ever think about. 20 hours of training a week and a couple of games, woe is me

There needs to be a change of culture with clubs and players. There is a big squad, you won't play every game because there is so many and yet you can still earn millions. Wages for the top players are uawards of £300,000 a week, you know only 10% of our population earn over £60,000 a year yet there is not a players in the top divisions earning that a year.

It feels like these players and managers want their cake and eat it and each year the wages get higher the cost to go to games gets higher, buying kits gets higher and all associated costs get higher but they want to do less.

I mean yesterday in my job we were told the 6 million pound cost increase to do business from April will mean less staff, some outsourcing and also to step up to the plate and do more with smaller pay rises and this will be the reality for a lot of people and businesses but not multi millionaire footballers and managers, no they want to do less but keep all the pie and at contract time get paid even more. Simon Jordan has the right of it but even some fans seem to keep on that narrative. I mnean we were told if we don't like find something else and I feel the same applies to footballers, hey if you don't like the amount of games and massive wages do something different that you can cope with while millions go about working themesleves to the bone.

As to England, well if they don't turn up they don't get in, then they won't be so tired, we may not win anything but hey at least they won't be over tired sat at home spunking over their millions, partying hard and so on.
