Just seen a few slagging him off on Twitter, so thought I'd ask.

Get ready for Ballague to write another essay defending his best mate.

Our fan base imo is one of the worst. Entitled and deluded. We laugh at spurs but we literally are spurs fans in claret

Yeah I’ve not seen it before either but as much as I dislike Anthony Taylor I do think it was the correct call.

If the defender mistimes a kick and his foot contacts the attacker, it’s a penalty. Same should apply if it’s his head.

After fabianski got a pen against him (arsenal) for a mistimed punch and I said if that was a mistimed clash of heads they wouldn't give a pen so really by that standard it's a pen.

Fair play to them

Not sure it's been discussed today but this spurs "handball" I swear they changed the law around handball that once somebody played it on IE passed it to another player that's the end of when var will rule?

So if the player who got the ball had shot and scored goal disallowed but because he passed it goal allowed

Or did I imagine that?

Think I’ve changed my mind on the Brighton penalty. Seems that Saliba touched the ball before he connected with Pedro. Fine margins, but VAR should have spotted it.

I saw that too. But he also obstructed Pedro just before the clash of heads, so a pen all day long.

I dont know what the rule is anymore. Was expecting the goal to be chalked off. Although clearly accidental and nothing Joelinton could do about it (the ball was hit hard at him from 3 feet away), the striking of the hand clearly redirected the ball to Guimares, who fed Gordon who scored. If the ball had merely brushed Joelintons hand then I'd have expected the goal to stand, but it was utterly re-directed straight in Guimares feet.

Dont know how/why it stood.....nice to get the rub of VAR for a change.

Lightweight - needs more time I think.

I'm just confused by the benching of Doku and Grealish who were outstanding midweek. Possibly with Wednesday's match in mind and Pep thinking the league is pretty much gone for this season...we need some momentum though.

He's a fast learner :-)

Wonder if there’s any truth to this?

Considering LFC’s historic dislike of the “right wing” I can’t see this going down very well with their fans if it did happen.

Maybe he is a Man Utd fan and he'll run it like he's running Twitter 😂. It's pocket change for him, he can happily run it down.

On a more serious note, would he pass the PL owners test?

There is as much truth in that as there is a ww2 plane on the moon and it’s an article that was published from the same sort of publication

Good News is he will never be near the club

Why not just play it with no fans? No danger from travelling, no fixture pile up for Liverpool fans to moan about later in the season when they go through a losing streak, and it is on TV anyway.

Or the fans can get there because it’s not that bad 👍

And it’s not just fans that need to travel

Teams , media , police , stewards etc
