Also - this isn't just me with rose-tinted glasses, but after Liverpool and Arsenal, I truly can't think of a better CB pairing in the league than what Forest have with Murillo and Milenkovic.

Pau Torres and Konsa
Pau Torres and Diego Carlos

;)

Really happy that Forest are going well - followed a very similar model to what we did when we came up and trending in the same direction we have too. Hope you keep it up!

Wolves look shocking and we need some localish games with a bit of needle!

Up the Midlanders!!!

We should all know by now - Brighton will have won the window come 12 months time when they're selling another 2m gem for 120m :ROFLMAO:

That prize is going to Forest when we sell Murillo to Real Madrid or similar for eleventy-seventy million pounds! 🤣

Going all the way to the top that lad.

I called it early last season that he'd be going to a Madrid/Barca for at least £80m.

At this point, I've never been more sure of anything in my entire life.

Yeah, you're calling the wrong teams - may get a big club move but Barca are crippled (hence this overseas fixture rubbish) and Madrid probably aren't shopping in Nottingham.

Maybe a Liverpool or City or Arsenal - someone like that?

Bayern maybe too actually, they seem to be shopping in the prem these days

Issue is - Barcelona can’t afford to spent that much money

And Madrid prefer to get their players on a freebie
haha. I should have just used the term "big club".

I doubt we sell him for less than £70m unless a.) PSR forces our hand and/or b.) he becomes a problem and kicks his toys out the pram saying he wants to leave for a bigger club.

but if we're in the position of not having to sell him, then great - we can wait for the right offer.

How old is he and what's the length of his contract right now?

Yea, see previous reply - I just meant "bigger club" in general.

And you say Madrid aren't shopping in Nottingham - but apparently, Murillo is already "on their radar". So who knows.

Sounds like you have everything going for you. I am sure if he performs consistently throughout the season he'll be on everyones radar

Agreed, just don't see 80m coming for him :ROFLMAO: 50ish maybe!

Got me thinking about something else now though, wonder how many players who have moved for 80m plus have actually been a success?

Like that game. Here's the list of everyone over £80 million, and whether I think they've been a success. Note, ranked in order of Euros, which is why the £ values are a bit mixed up

1. Neymar - £198 million to PSG - SUCCESS (although hard not to be a success in France at PSG, not worth the fee still)
2. Mbappe - £163 million to PSG - SUCCESS
3. Coutinho - £105 million to Barcelona - FAILURE
4. Felix - £112.9 million to Atletico - FAILURE
5. Fernandez - £106.8 million to Chelsea - FAILURE (only because of last season, Chelsea look better now and don't know if he has been a key part?)
6. Griezeman - £107 million to Barcelona - FAILURE
7. Grealish - £100 million to Man City - SUCCESS
8. Rice - £100 million to Arsenal - SUCCESS
9. Caicedo - £100 million to Chelsea - SUCCESS (looked a failure, but Chelsea decent now and a Chelsea fan I know recently gave him a lot of praise, so I guess he might be coming good)
10. Lukaku - £97.5 million to Chelsea - FAILURE
11. Dembele - £97 million to Barcelona - SUCCESS (until injuries?)
12. Pogba - £89 million to Man Utd - FAILURE
13. Bellingham - £88.5 million to Real Madrid - SUCCESS
14. Hazard - £89 million to Real Madrid - FAILURE
15. Ronaldo - £88 million to Juventus - SUCCESS
16. Kane - £86.4 million to Bayern - SUCCESS
17. Bale - £86 million to Real Madrid - SUCCESS (despite how it ended)
18. Antony - £82 million to Man Utd - FAILURE (no caveats for that one)
19. Ronaldo - £80 million to Real Madrid - SUCCESS
20. Maguire - £80 million to Man Utd - FAILURE

So, out of 20 players to be signed for £80 million plus, I reckon 11 could be considered a success (55%).

Also, despite the Premier League having most of the money for quite some time, interesting how it is some of the big clubs in Europe have been the ones to spend even more absurd amounts of money. PSG are just silly. They should win the league easily in France without spending anywhere near that, but clearly desperate to buy the Champions League, and failed. Barcelona and Real have always liked spending big as well.

His agent is an absolute genius, and a very rich man 😂. As is Lukaku on the back of all of those fees.
Federico Pastorello, named best agent in the world in 2021.

Looks like he is wearing a very expensive suit on his wiki page (probably doesn't buy his clothes in Next), and definitely goes to a top class salon to get his hair done. He'll be worth a few bob
