This World Cup we have made a bit of a mockery of our ranking as the 2nd best T20 side in the world. Struggled to beat some of the minnows and now looking at a thrashing in the semi-final.

One observation, why does no one charge the bowler any more? The Indians were excellent in bowling yorkers but the batsman just stayed in their crease every delivery.

I don’t know what made Samson POM over Bethell, other than being on the winning team. He didn’t really do anything extra behind the stumps and Bethell had a run out. Home team advantage I guess.

I think he should only be in the side as a batsman at the moment, he doesn't have enough control to be bowling at the Indians. In for Salt or Buttler may have been an option, but not sure who would go behind the stumps if not Buttler.

Banton is actually a better keeper than Buttler (in my view).
