So trip into Oxford hospital and my consumption figures are 28kWh/100 .. which to be honest was not any effort just on eco pro and adaptive regeneration and moving at the traffic pace. AC and seat heating engaged with radio 2 on .. I actually think Scott Mills is better at this time although I do like his afternoon music as it’s more my era ..as an aside.

Is that 100 miles using 28kwh of battery ? I believe that works out 3.57 miles per kWh which is decent. 3.5 is a nice aim to have

Once you have that figure times it by usable battery and that's you real world range

When you say eco pro is that drive style? The shared thoughts with the EV forums / Facebook groups is just drive in "normal" and forget eco as it (especially in winter) affects the air con and doesn't give you that much more range (mine gives me about 9 miles more switching to eco mode)

I've got to a very weird stage now (as the big car has been gone since February and the family all have hybrids) of actually not remembering what it's like to drive something that doesn't give pretty much instant power lol very strange, last winter I still did a few 1000 miles in the big car which was an eye opening the difference..

I think my average is 3.6, I am afraid I have been enjoying the electric “Woosh” of acceleration.. so some hooliganism has been happening.

After my last recharge I'm at 4.7 ATM but my long term (since car arrived) is 4.3 which I'm happy with. I'd like to average 4 over a year

I like how smooth the whole driving is, few very relaxing

Yeah it's fun . My ipace isn't the most eco anyway and 400 bhp is too much fun not to use
IPace is one of mine, it wasn’t intended to be a sporty car more urban eco thing (not really Jaguar DNA that) it was to have a 195 section tyre .. but dynamics shoved 255 on it and then that delayed it 6-8months as we tried to get the tyre in the existing packaging plus some knuckle changes to compensate for the lower roll centres.
After all that I drove the car 2 months after it was released ☹️ .. but it was a great car

iPace is one of the EVs I was considering but not any more. My car went in for an MOT yesterday and I use a specialist place that only does BMW, Jag and Mercs. The guy warned me off the iPace as they are both unreliable and expensive to fix. They recently had one in for an aircon fault that caused a high voltage problem as well. £3k to fix and took 3 months waiting for parts. He said Mercs are a much better option.

Bad news always travels faster than good. I didn’t bother with Mercedes because in the last 20 years their quality control has left their organisation.
Buy the car you like, don’t buy one because so and so says this or that.. there were 35k I paces built a year out of Magna ( which is not English and builds several quality brands without the UK work force idiosyncratic union agreements and HR silliness that JLR contends with at other UK facilities)
since 2018. There will always be minor issues with everything.
Software over the air is something you should be worried about as there is no policy about getting right first time, it’s just squirt it out and give everyone the good news that you have fixed a non existent issue but created a whole new load 🤣.

I went used from a main dealer , came with a 2 year warranty, it's a huge amount of car for the money. I looked at Mercs and was told similar stories to your Jag ones.

also have to look at the dealers as they can be the key to a good or bad experience

my corsa was a piece of rubbish car wise (not the EV side but the actual car, build quality poor) anyways vauxhall romford awful. shambles of a dealer.. everything was always on back order.. staff changing every time I called. When I went to vauxhall lakeside for when the window regulator went (when it was only 3 years 1 month old so out of warranty) the part was in stock and fixed within 2 hours.. plus the dealer gave a more professional vibe.

telsa is a lot of over air updates, my mate woke up other day to an update that had activated adaptive headlights on the car lol

Appreciated the pre condition for the first time in ages this morning. sure its nice in the summer to get into a cool car but nothing beats when its cold in the morning and you get into a nice 22 degree car with the heated steering wheel already been on so its just comfortable.

It handles surprisingly well for a car of it's size and weight. It also just breezes past cars on overtakes.
There is a junction I use often its left lane for straight on and right for right. You often get people pull up on the right clearly thinking they can cut ahead, good luck with that🤣🤣

Right I have changed… no more hyper miling! Unless I do a long journey.
I will drive how I want and use my charger to supplement my wasteful consumption 🤭

So I tried to do my first charge overnight. Which was a failure I wanted to get to 100% but it shut off at 67% .
So trying to work out why and I can only conclude the 3 apps are not aligned . So OvO needs a schedule so that can be set. The hypervolt needs to be set in the window of the ovo timing .. had to delete all the presets as it was complaining about timing conflicts. Then the BMW app had a leave time set, not sure if I set that.
So I need to shut down all the app interference and let one do it ..

Yes one app should control them all, if you have more than one app controlling things you just get errors.

For example my ohme is in charge of everything , it talks to Octopus and all schedules on the car is turned off.

That works seamlessly

I'd have to check but from what I see on the octopus side , just subbing them from OVO as in theory it should be the same, if they have the ability to control it should be via them. @jim8flog is the one to ask altho he has an ohme charger, which can be different because all other chargers on octopus and cars you control from octopus but ohme you use their app and they tell octopus for you. So Jim might be able to explain better. I'll txt my mate who's on OVO and ask him aswell
