220-240(with a big bounce) but always straightish. Best ever 299 downwind on a hot sunny day. Actually when I say wind I mean hooley, as next hole we turned 180 degrees and I creamed it 140 yards into said breeze. Lol

I think I have honestly stated previously my distances ... But seriously all I care about is getting to where I intended to go and going as far as my expectations, if that happens then I am going to have a very pleasant round.

I played with a bloke that hit one 320 yards a few weeks ago, most I know rarely get past 220, I am considered a big hitter by my playing partners and although I dont take much notice I would guess they are normally around 260/270. I do smile at some peoples estimates of their distances though.

Did you not drive the 300 yard plus first at Tyrrells Wood like the rest of us with a three wood.

Don't tell anyone that it was down breeze, oh yes and down an enormous hill.;)

;)
Best ever drive, hard fairways, slight wind behind, absolutely middled it. This is now and forever more my average drive ;)
In reality i typically carry it 250-260 plus whatever roll I get. Getting a bit more roll with the new driver, it spins less.

The concept of forum distance makes me laugh, most in this forum don't claim to be big hitters at all and happily wear their short driving distance as a badge of honour. Now golfwrx on the other hand is ridiculous, they all claim ludicrous driving distances.

I hit mine around 270 inc roll on the course, track man had it at 280+ but think some tinkering may have been afoot. Can bomb it a bit more than that and also a bit less ! Far to many variables.

I did :whoo: that along with the 10th at Staverton are my 2 best distances to date ;) There should be more huge down hill short par 4's like that everywhere :mmm:

PB is 375 but that was quite a strong back wind. Generally its anywhere between 250 and 300 depending on the strike and roll out. Our 18th is a shade over 300 yards and I drive it quite often. Our 10th is 265 yards slightly downhill and the 3 wood is sometimes too much club.

So if it's not your Driving (Driver or 3-Wood) then just exactly what's keeping you at 16?

It's good to know that a link still exists - the worse your scoring ability, the further you think you hit the ball and the more you have to talk about it. ;)

Please save the "my putting is awful" replies. Thank you :)
