Bit of an odd-ball question here.

Do you guys carry different length tees for irons than you do for, say a driver?

A lad at our local course uses 3 different types of tee. One for his driver, one for his woods and yet another for his irons.

Just curious to hear people opinions.

Two different lengths for me - long for the driver and short for the fairway woods off the tee, an iron is either a broken tee off the tee box or one of my shorter tees pushed right down.

Surely you dont hit an iron off a long tee?!?!?

new tees for the driver, broken bits for everything else, and even broken bits for the driver sometimes now that some people tees are about 4 inches long lol

One size fits all :D

See I'm tending to agree with Bob here.

I play a long tee (2.3/4) for my driver and just push it down further for the woods and further again fot my irons.

I do think 3 different tees is a little excessive, but each to their own.

Same as fundy. I only carry long white wooden tees, use a nice one for driver and a broken one for fairway wood, hybrid and irons.

I use castle tees so yes I do have 3 types and sometimes more, red or orange for irons, red or blue for fairway woods and pink for my driver. I get the height I like every time so helps my consistancy.

The long aerodynamic ones for driver - blue castle for 3-woods, red castle for 5-woods and then anything short and plastic for irons.

Anyone who uses those rubber ones held together with a bit of string needs to be shot on sight.

Yep, same recipe for me too!

1 kind
really makes no odds to me as the Shortee 53mm are long enough for my driver and i know how high i want to tee it

one of the other guys i play with uses 4 heights of castle tees, if it helps him get the right height for each club.... good for him

i love it when ur 70mm ones break and u guys throw them away cos they'll only reach a 1/3rd of the way up ur clubfaces - work for me just great ......cheers guys ;)

Mainly use the plastic castle tees (sorry purists). Pink for the driver, blue for the 3 wood and red or bits of broken wooden ones that I find on the tee box for irons.

Still playing off mats at the moment so it's pink castle for the driver and red castle for 3 wood and irons. However, I use a short tee for my hybrid as the face is shallow. When we get to finally play on proper grass tees I switch to long wooden tees for driver and shorter for the other clubs which I vary in height to suit.

Long white tees with a yellow band round them for the driver.

Any broken bits on the tee box for 3 wood snd irons, although dont always use a tee for irons on par 3s
