I think if you are early enough, and have enough people entering if there is a ballot, its not that difficult. At least for Rome, Paris, where local interest is minimal. If one was staged in the UK again it might be a different story.
I bought a couple for the Wednesday practice last month, and I think there were sitll some HUGE price weekend premium tickets on sale at the time too.

My son bought tickets for the Wednesday practice day just last week (€50 I believe)

Tommy Fleetwood was doing the radio interviews this morning, and I’m guessing by the time he took the call from 5 live he was getting bored of the same mundane questions….

“Tommy, what do you think of Luke Donald as a Ryder Cup captain”

Tommy answered in one word - “ :poop: “

:ROFLMAO:

I guess they don’t have a profanity delay on the BBC sports channel.

Shan't be watching any of it until the first tee shot.

Ryder Cups are won and lost in the choice of vice Captains. I feel USA has the edge here, and that will see them over the line despite playing in Europe.

I'm not sure the DP tour schedule has been a great help in the timing of picks.
Wasnt the BMW PGA earlier last year on the bank holiday. I would have thought having the PGA as the last tournament before making his picks would have helped.
Being the biggest tournament on tour surely that would have gone someway in deciding if he took Meronk instead of Hojgaard or if another European on the fringes of the team won it, surely that would earn a pick?

I registered an interest ages ago and they said an email would be sent giving me 15min window to buy. I was out on the golf course, poor signal, cue panic. Got 2x weekly tickets and booked the hotel that night. Thankfully the hotel were not up to speed with what the Ryder cup is it seems and got a decent rate. Not that story now if you can get a room at all

I would be surprised if hotels still now reasonably available. As a big capital with mega tourism, I dont know if Ryder Cup would make that much of a dent in its accomodation. Most of Rome wont even onow its on.

I think Hojgaards match play record is actually pretty good.

He had 3.5 points at the Hero Cup earlier this year - I reckon this helped his claim
