I'd still find it interesting to see who makes the team, etc. And the reasoning behind the picks.
But wouldn't find the actual playing side of it that fascinating.
I actually agree. I will watch it but personally it's behind the likes of the open, the masters and the players for me.
I find the chanting and the Europe costumes cringey at best

At least they haven’t gone so far as face painting like in the Solheim

I would have picked Meronk in front of Lowry.
It will all come down the last match on the course on Sunday. Lowry v JT. Car crash golf. Not a birdie between them. A cringefest of bad golf, in a contest of which one is which one is least out of form. Decided on the 18th where one dribbles a 3ft double bogey putt 6" short of the hole to hand it to the other...but which of the two missed that put ?

Although I do feel for Meronk and expected him to be in, ultimately LD has to pick the team he thinks will win. Regardless of who he picked there’d always be coulda shoulda woulda shouts.

I can’t wait for it, and although I don’t like the fancy dress, it’s the same as football for me, I zone out and watch the sport rather than concentrating on the periphery shenanigans and commentary. And for a couple of times a year, I’m fine with the shouting and chanting, see also the waste management open. Not every week but every so often is a nice change.

I do wonder how they manage to get tickets for every RC?
Maybe I'm wrong but I thought it sold out pdq like The Open
