I agree that Rory has certain aspects that hold him back, he doesn't seem to have the fight of Spieth, the consistency of DJ, the fire of Rahm or the putting of Koepka.
But he hits it a mile, goes on Palmer like charges and can bring a course to it's knees when everything is going well, and is still pretty young so has time to do some amazing things in the future.
I think he is too reliant on everything being good to do well - a bit like Jenson Button in F1 compared to Alonso. Both brilliant on their day, but if the set up isn;t perfect Alonso will be better than Button as he can get more out of imperfect than Button can. Same goes for Rory compared to some of the other big names (notably Speith & DJ).
