Random Irritations

Days of water on the ear....or whatever. Noisy squishy noise. My mom always said to put in a drop of alcohol to dry out the ear. So....they don't seem to do alcohol around these parts so i had my wife put in a few drops of gin. It worked.....the wife isn't happy that I was right. Plymouth as well....so likely didn't want to waste the 4 drops of gin.

Sorry to hear this LMS. I totally understand your issues.
A kindred spirit aye. Bloody awful isn’t it, tempted to go to bed now so that I can get a few extra hours of broken sleep rather than no sleep.

Plus the hoops to jump through just to get the scan referral, it’s like saying we don’t believe you’re in pain so we’re going to lake sure you are and aren’t wasting our time !

You're out for a jog. You see two people walking on the path ahead of you, in your direction. They take up the full width of the path, and you are next to a fairly busy road. You would think that they might be able to walk in single file for a few seconds, so that you can safely jog past them. But no, instead they continue to take up the full width of the pavement, ignore you and expect you to run onto the road, back to traffic. Especially irritating when there is actually a car coming up the road.
Jog somewhere where you won’t come into conflict with pedestrians on narrow paths.
Or on the other side of the road so you can see the oncoming traffic.

I’m with them. I’d never give up space on a path to someone using it abnormally. If I was running I’d be on the road or in a park.

I have no choice. There is only one long road outside my work, and only a footpath on one side of the road.

Using the path abnormally? :ROFLMAO:

He could always use the bit meant for bikes but you would be mad to really.
In fact you would have to be a cycle path.

I’m so sorry, mods I need an infraction

Ridiculous, even if he was walking on the path and going towards 2 people who are taking up all the space common decency would be for one of them to move aside and let the person pass.

Nice wide pavement, not busy - fill your boots: jog, play British bulldog, ride your scooter, kick a football, whatever.
Busy road, narrow pavement only on one side: apply common sense and leave it for those for whom it was designed; walking pedestrians.
Doesn’t seem terribly complicated or controversial to me.

So, not someone in a wheelchair?

So, not someone in a wheelchair?
Seriously? You consider someone in a wheelchair to be abnormal?

Highway Code now gives priority in order of most vulnerability.
Like kids and the elderly, somebody in a wheelchair is at the top of the list, followed by able bodied walking pedestrians.

So it’s a narrow pavement on a busy road and the 2 walking side by side don’t have to use common sense? In your opinion the runner should risk his life in the road. Unbelievable!

We've found that pesky pedestrian. Probably believes a one ball has no standing on the golf course as well :ROFLMAO:
Aren’t you the person that came on here describing how you came into conflict with other citizens today?
I have not come into conflict with any of my fellow citizens for as long as I can remember.
🤔 🤡😘

Not at all, it was you who said the following;

I spent £350 on a private scan.
